Rough Dropseed - Perennial prairie grass with fine-textured green leaves with pinkish-brown flowers in the summer. 
 
Growth: Can grow 2 - 3 feet tall.
Light: 6 or more hours of full sun. Can tolerate partial shade.
Soil: Tolerates any soil; prefers dry, rock soil
Hardiness: Grows slowly, but once established, is a long-lived perennial.
Maintenance: Low maintenance. Self-seeds freely. Remove old foliage in the spring & avoid overwatering
