Contamination Pledge

To successfully create compost, we must combine yard waste with food waste. If any of the materials that go in the compost pile ARE NOT compostable, the composting process is hindered & ultimately contaminated. â€‹

Contamination in compost is similar to littering. Just as you would not dispose of your aluminum foil in your garden bed or bury plastic bags when you are planting a tree, contamination items should not go into the compost process.

The composting process needs to be as clean as possible, & this requires direct supervision of what goes into your compost bucket. The list provided above is not all inclusive but can be used as a general reference. If you are unsure about any items, please reach out to us.

By signing up for a subscription, you are pledging that you have read & understand the list of accepted items & are committing to having 0% contamination in your Collection Bucket.

If contaminants are found in your collection bucket on a continual basis, your service will cease without a refund.
